OVERVIEW The IWE is designed to address the needs of the inquisitive wine enthusiast and aspiring wine professional alike. IWE remains accessible but is content-rich and full of cultural highlights that are as engaging as they are entertaining. The course provides an introduction to Italy and explores its key wine regions through tutored tasting of 36 wines. IWS Prep is your passport to understanding Italian wine. It also acts as a stepping-stone to the internationally acclaimed Italian Wine Scholar certification program. The coursebook and instructors alike will guide you on a wine-focused journey through Italy, learning about legendary wines, foods, landmarks and cultural attractions as you “travel.” The program has been divided into three sections, each featuring a geographical area of Italy: the wines of Northern Italy, the wines of Central Italy and the wines of Southern Italy. Within each section, a tantalizing palette of 12 wines are showcased. TERMS AND CONDITIONS To attend any tutored tasting in Thailand you must be over 20 years old. Only a completed booking form with student declaration will be accepted. All events must be paid for in advanced. Your seat will only be confirmed after payment has been received. If, on reaching the booking deadline, there is an insufficient number of candidates to run a program, the course or program will be cancelled and full refund will be arranged for candidates who have already paid minus the costs of WSET materials already supplied. CANCELLATION by Wine & Spirit IQ and Refunds: In the rare case of unavoidable reason a host-educator is unable to teach a lesson, and a replacement cannot be made, a session may be rescheduled to a date and time at the discretion of Wine and Spirit IQ. Every effort will be made to reschedule the session to a date that is most suitable for the majority of candidates. No refund, however, will be made to any student who is unable to attend the rescheduled session for whatever reason. In the case of lockdown imposed by the government, in-class sessions might transition to online sessions . No refund; however, will be made to any student who is unable not attend the online sessions for whatever reason. Wine & Spirit reserve the right to change the venue of any course or event to one of equal or superior quality and within the same vicinity. by Candidate and Refunds: Booking are refundable up to 20 working days prior to the course starting date. All refund requests must be made in writing or by email. An administration fee of 1,500 THB plus the full cost of WSET Study material supplied will be deducted and the remainder of the course fee refunded. No refunds are available for cancellations received within 20 working days prior the first day of class. TRANSFERS/DEFFERRALS Transfer of a booking to an alternative course date is permissible up to 20 working days prior to the course starting date – subject to availability. Transfer requests must be received in writing or by email. Transfer will incur an administration fee of 1,500 THB. Transferred courses are not eligible for refunds. EXAMS Exam dates are fixed to the course onto which you have booked and any transfer to an alternative examination date will occur an administration fee of 1,500 THB. Exam date transfer requests must be made in writing by email and are subject to availability. Exam date transfer requests made within 15 or less working days of the examination date
